Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha (or Moshi)

• Airport pickup by Sharubu Tours representative
• Transfer to your hotel/lodge in Arusha
• Pre-safari briefing with your professional guide
• Rest and acclimatization

Overnight: Arusha (based on selected accommodation category)

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

• After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2 hrs)
• Full-day game drive in Tarangire, known for:
• Giant baobab trees
• Dense elephant population
• Predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs
• Birding opportunities (over 500 species)
• Picnic lunch inside the park
• Evening transfer to your lodge/camp

Overnight: Near Tarangire (Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, based on category)

Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park (via Ngorongoro Highlands)

• Early breakfast and scenic drive through Ngorongoro Highlands
• En route visit to a Maasai village (optional)
• Game viewing begins upon entering Serengeti
• Afternoon game drive en route to central Serengeti
• Spot big cats, herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope
• Sunset over the Serengeti plains

Overnight: Serengeti National Park (central region)

Day 4: Full-Day in Serengeti National Park

• Early morning game drive to catch predators at dawn
• Full-day safari exploring:

• Kopjes, riverine forests, and migration routes
• Likely sightings: lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

• Scenic drive to Ngorongoro Crater rim
• Stunning views from the rim at sunset

Overnight: On or near the crater rim (Karatu or crater lodge)

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive

• Early descent into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
• Half or full-day game drive in the crater floor
• Home to the Big Five (including rare black rhino)
• Rich biodiversity in a collapsed volcano
• Soda lake with flamingos, hippos, and aquatic birds
• Picnic lunch at the hippo pool
• Ascend the crater and return to Karatu/Arusha area

Overnight: Karatu or Arusha (based on logistics)

Day 7: Return to Arusha – Departure or Optional Activities
