Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha National Park

• Pickup from your hotel/airport in Arusha.
• Full-day game drive at Arusha National Park.

Expect to see;

• Lush montane forest, alkaline Momella Lakes, and clear views of Mount Meru giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, colobus monkeys, and the scenic Momella Lakes.
• Optional walking safari and canoeing (at extra cost).
• Overnight at lodge/camp in Arusha.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire (approx. 2 hours).

Expect to see;

• Iconic baobab trees and a vast river valley attracting large elephant herds, full-day game drive among ancient baobabs, large elephant herds, lions, leopards.
• Picnic lunch inside the park.
• Overnight in Tarangire area.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park

• Short drive to Lake Manyara

Expect to see;

• dense groundwater forest, hot springs, and a seasonal soda lake filled with flamingos, look out for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, monkeys.
• Game drive in the lush forest and lake surroundings.
• Afternoon cultural experience (Maasai village or Mto wa Mbu visit).
• Overnight in Karatu.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

• A UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to the densest population of wildlife on Earth

Expect to see;

• black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos.
• Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.
• Full-day game drive with picnic lunch on the crater floor.
• Overnight in Ngorongoro or Serengeti border area.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park (Central)

• Drive to Central Serengeti via the Ngorongoro highlands.

Expect to see;

• Endless plains, dramatic sunrises, and the legendary Great Wildebeest Migration, See large herds of wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, elephants.
• Game drive en route and afternoon safari in the endless plains.
• Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 6: Full-Day Serengeti National Park

• Full-day game drive in Central Serengeti.
• Track the Big Five and witness the movement of the Great Migration (seasonal).
• Optional hot air balloon safari (extra cost).
• Overnight in Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti to Arusha (or optional flight)

• Early morning game drive (if time allows).
• Drive back to Arusha via Ngorongoro or take a scheduled bush flight (extra cost).
